Jereth or Jer Bear(as some might know him) is a very special boy we waited a very long time for. He comes to us from our dear friend Susanna Anderson of Legend Bloodhounds and was Co-Bred by our friend Dario Rolim of Brazil . The litter theme was "Musicals" and I found it fitting to name him after David Bowie in the movie Labyrinth!

Since the day I first saw his father Bastian I knew I wanted a puppy from him! When Susanna told me she was breeding Bastian to Mabel (another favorite) I was so overwhelmed when she told me the pick boy could be mine!  Jereth shares the same birthday with our resident quenn "Anya". If  I end up with another easy going love bug like her......I will be one of the luckiest bloodhound owners!  Jereth's first show Was the Canadian Bloodhound Nationals at Longsault....he only won his class one of the days because Jereth thought he was a Kangaroo......he stole the show and was the "clown" But everyone couldn't help but smile because he was having such a wonderful time doing so!

Jereth has gotten his feet wet in the show ring. His first Win was at the American bloodhound Nationals where he was first in his Class in Futurity then going on to be BOS junior in Futurity. He is very close to finishing his Canadian Championship. March 2010 he won Winners dog at the American Eastern specialty show for a four point major.  Jereth finished his Canadian Championship (needed 2 points) by winning a group 1st, 3rd, 4th ! After these wins as I write he is the # 7 bloodhound in Canada ! We are now anxious to finish his American Championship.
