2007 LongSault Anya's pretty mommy Tulla won brood bitch 2007 at the
bloodhound specialty. Anya Won best female puppy each day!

Unfortunately
Winter is not the best time to travel to shows, Anya has been enjoying
her down time playing with Odin. We will be getting back on track in
the spring!
Spring is on
the way!!!!! We received our certificate, so Boru is now a registered
Kennel!!!!

We don't have alot of news. We have not been to any shows so we don't havve any brags either. Winter is here ! We
already have a ton of snow. Anya is closing in on her 2 year
mark. In January we are driving down to have her hips and elbows
x-rayed and then sent to OFA. Time has gone by so fast ..........almost
too fast! Hopefully we get the resullts we are hoping for.
Until then we are looking forward to the holiudays.... Anya and odin
will get to see causin Cooper the Cocker spaniel......and there will be
doggy presents under Gramma O'Brien's tree for sure!

We have been Dumped on!
We have gotten more snow in December than we did the whole
winter last year! Odin found the last sign of life! Moments later
he plucked it off Papa's O'Briens rose bush!

Well
Happy new year to all! We are so proud to announce that the final
points have been calculated for best dog in a Canada. This is
calculated by CKC breed points (group placements)
At the tender age of 15 months Anya won 4 group placements. Two group 2nd and two group 3rd.
We
have not really showed her since then but we managed to make the top 10
as #10! We are very proud of her! Anya is our first "show dog"
.......it just proves you can do anything you set your mind to,
especailly when you have a great dog at the end of your show lead.
Many thanks to Patrina and Dave for placing Ms.Anya with
the O.B's . We would also like to thank Anya's Gramma Kathy Reid for
all her help and advice. Although Kathy is in a handling league of her
own......she is always helpful and kind to others. Thank you to Kathy's
daughter Jen and son-in -law Ron for all of their help as well.
Anya's Daddy Fred was ranked at #5 but we all know he would have been
higher on the list if he had come out more. Congratulations to all the
winners. We look forward to showing in the new year !
